As president of IIORA, I would never have expected how much the future would hold for our very elite group of reborn artists and sculptors when we were established in 2009.

I had a vision in mind of uniting only the best reborn artists and sculptors from across the globe in a group that would not be “just another guild” but an institute that would set the standards for this art and to establish a formal body to regulate the reborn industry with regards to:

Excellence of Execution
The work must be well made, impeccably finished. A mastery of medium used should be correctly applied. Painting should be flawless and suit the age and race of the baby represented. Hair application should be of appropriate material and flawlessly applied as well. Chosen outfits should be well conceived, appropriate for the baby and the occasion it represents as well as expertly made, if hand made.

Consistency
An IIORA artist must be trusted to exhibit the highest quality of workmanship in every reborn produced. A IIORA artist has the highest personal standards for their work that reflect the organization's strict standards.

Identity of Design
This is an essential element in IIORA's standards - each IIORA artist's having a true signature style baby that can be identified as a true piece of art. Every IIORA artist should have a style that is utterly unique and recognizable hers.

Today I am honored to announce that we have succeeded in our goal and can proudly say that we have some of the BEST artists and sculptors in the industry as members of IIORA.

With having very well known artists nl. Helen Jalland (Tinkerbelle Nursery), Sylvia Jantzen (Little Dreamland Babys), Adora Galeone (Sweetdreams Babies) and Lisa Beeler (Precious Newborns) as part of our board, we are set to be a winning team and a force to be reckoned with.

2011 has been an exciting year for IIORA for having this vision becoming a reality with the conclusion of a very dynamic partnership between ourselves and ASINTRA Germany. Many great ideas have been born out of this partnership and I foresee a bright future for this coalition. With this said, I would also like to formally announce that after a unanimous decision, the board has elected Ursula Konhauser as a member on our board. Since Ursula is a integrate and very important part of ASINTRA, it makes a lot of sense to have her serve on the board of IIORA as a link between the two parties.

I am glad to know that there are another group of artists with the same vision as IIORA and we are very honored to be involved with the great ideas that ASINTRA has in mind for the future of the art of reborning.

Let's Reborn Workshops & Online Tutorials has originated after numerous requests from new as well as existing artists for advice and help.  After some of the world's top reborn artists join forces, Let's Reborn was born.....

ASINTRA is an international association of Reborn Artists founded in 2006 in Germany. The strategic objectives of the organization are to form opinions and represent the interests of their members in the upgrowing international reborn market. ASINTRA has a written Code of Conduct, which has to be undertaken by each member before joining the association. The compliance with these rules are strictly and permanent supervised. The association supports their members in all kind of marketing, exhibitions, legal questions and qualification e.g. in life workshops. ASINTRA works also on quality standards and releases a Reborn Compendium each year. To evaluate the skills, experiences and the know how, ASINTRA offers their members a two-day-certification-programm where the examinees will be approved and have the chance to get a three years limited certification as "Professional", "Expert" or "Master
